Alison was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Her family moved to Oxford, Maryland, a small town on the Chesapeake Bay where she grew up. She attended Sweet Briar College and received her B.A. from the University of Maryland. After college she returned to Oxford where she and her husband successfully owned and operated a large waterfront restaurant for many years. They sold the restaurant and moved to Lambertville, NJ in 2001 and soon after she became a licensed real estate agent in NJ and PA; she has been with Sotheby's (formerly The Henderson Group) since 2003. Interests include travel, creative cuisine, running, and everything dogs.
